Design and construction of an industrial concrete floor for the CEDI ARA logistics distribution center in Girardota, Colombia. The project covered a total surface of 18,353 m² (≈ 197,551 ft²) and was executed using the RCR CONDUCTIL SFRC system, designed for large panels without shrinkage control joints.
The slab was constructed using MR39 concrete with a thickness of 15 cm, reinforced with high-performance steel fibers to ensure structural performance and durability under intensive logistics operations. The system allows the execution of large jointless panels, reducing maintenance and improving long-term performance.
The works included concrete supply, spreading, screeding, vibration, leveling and mechanical finishing, ensuring a compact and durable industrial surface suitable for distribution center operations and heavy material handling equipment.
