The project involved the execution of a <strong>SIGMA SLAB G<\/strong> system using jointless strip construction, specifically designed for <strong>Very Narrow Aisle (VNA)<\/strong> logistics operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The slab was built using <strong>4500 psi concrete with a thickness of 16 cm<\/strong>, incorporating a dual reinforcement strategy: passive reinforcement with <strong>Dramix steel fibers<\/strong> and active reinforcement through <strong>post-tensioned cables<\/strong>. A <strong>quartz\u2013corundum surface hardener (QUALIDUR)<\/strong> was applied at 5 kg\/m\u00b2 to ensure high abrasion resistance and durability under heavy logistics traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The execution included double polyethylene vapor barriers, concrete supply with integrated steel fibers, spreading, screeding, vibration, leveling and mechanical finishing. Construction joints were executed with <strong>5\/8&#8243; diamond dowels spaced at 45 cm<\/strong>, while <strong>Permaban Signature AR<\/strong> armoured joints were installed at aisle headers.
