Installation of high-performance resin flooring systems for the Pharma Tarkus facility in Colombia, covering a total area of approximately 1,333 m² (≈ 14,348 ft²). The project required hygienic, seamless and chemically resistant flooring suitable for pharmaceutical production environments.
The main flooring system was executed using the RINOL QCR epoxy resin system with a total thickness of 3 mm. The system included a primer layer EP P202, a leveling layer EP L300 with broadcast colored quartz sand, and a transparent protective topcoat EP T710. Additionally, epoxy covings with a 10 cm radius were installed to ensure hygienic floor-to-wall transitions.
Specific areas such as step risers were treated with the RINOL SEALING system, a multi-layer epoxy coating composed of primer EP P202 and two finishing coats EP C523 with a glossy finish. The solution provides chemical resistance, easy cleaning and long-term durability required for pharmaceutical and clean production environments.
