Design and construction of an industrial concrete floor for the Falabella distribution center in Cota, Colombia. The project covered a total surface of approximately 82,348 m² (≈ 886,393 ft²) and was executed using a large-panel construction methodology without saw-cut control joints.
The slab was constructed with MR39 concrete with controlled shrinkage ≤ 0.35‰ and a thickness of 18 cm, ensuring structural stability and long-term performance for logistics and distribution operations.
The floor was designed to withstand intensive operational traffic and heavy material handling equipment, providing a durable industrial flooring platform capable of supporting large-scale warehouse and logistics activities.
