Design and construction of an industrial concrete floor for the CEDI ARA logistics distribution center in Cota, Colombia. The project covered a total surface of 23,377 m² (≈ 251,628 ft²) and was executed using the RCR CONDUCTIL SFRC system, designed for large panels without shrinkage control joints.
The slab was constructed using M39 concrete with a thickness of 15 cm, reinforced with high-performance steel fibers to ensure durability and structural performance under intensive logistics operations. The system allows the execution of large jointless panels, reducing maintenance requirements and improving long-term floor behavior.
The works included concrete supply, spreading, screeding, vibration, leveling and mechanical finishing to achieve a compact, durable surface suitable for heavy material handling equipment and high-traffic warehouse operations.
