RCR Flooring Products Ltd, which manufactures the Permaban range of armoured joints, has achieved OHSAS 18001:2007 occupational health and safety registration, following a successful audit by BSI in September 2017.

This is the third significant step forward for RCR Flooring Products’ management systems in the last 12 months.  The UK company successfully upgraded its existing ISO 9001 registration to ISO 9001:2015, and also attained ISO 14001:2015.  This positions RCR Flooring Products Ltd as a triple-accredited organisation, operating to three highly respected world-class management standards.

OHSAS 18001:2007 registered companies follow a systematic process of setting a health and safety policy; undertaking risk assessments; creating and implementing improvement plans; and regular reviews and audits to check performance and seek continual improvement.  The company will be subject to periodic external auditing by BSI to maintain its registration.

“At the beginning of the year our Managing Director, Andrew Keen, set us the challenge to build a fully integrated management system that would prove we comply with the latest international standards for quality, the environment and health and safety, in less than one year.  With hard work and dedication from all the team, the process took just ten months!  It’s an immense achievement for us, and one that prepares RCR Flooring Products for even greater success in the future.”
